A serene sculpted face in unglazed bisque — a smooth oval visage with softly closed, downcast eyes, a gentle smile, and a plain band across the brow. A classic decorative mask form that painters take anywhere from Venetian carnival to celestial sun-and-moon to art-deco metallics.
